It was -3 at the time of the early morning photos. major oversight seeing my sleeping bag is only rated for 1 season. I felt cold for the next few days! All my focus was getting the bike up the mountain safely I didn't consider the possibility of sub zero temperatures at that point.Cor that looked bloomin freezing... awesome shot of the stars though!

Yeah that plus the evening with a burger, beer and sunset combination was a bit special
I'm trying to get out and do something similar soon I'm fortunate enough to have a national park less that 30mins ride away from where I live. But I have a suspicision at the moment flies will be a problem.

I tried to do the wild atlantic way last year north to south direction. but only got as far as westport I when I retired due bad weather. I'd like to try it south to north next time but will probably until next year.
