Feedback Needed Why does this keep giving?

Don't wannabe
Today fifth video, of all the ones I have uploaded, crossed the 1000 views line. Interestingly enough that video has been up for like 5 months. Earlier videos took off quicker and then died off. This one just keeps giving views slow but steady.
What are your thoughts on why?

I imagine with this one, it possibly picks up traction this time of year due to the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, my advert for my custom Moto Guzzi got a load more views too with folk thinking they want a hipster bike, or a classic sidecar outfit etc

It's not a thing of past couple of weeks. It has steadily grown, over time. It is always among the top 3 most watched videos of past 48h.

That's what I was thinking too. Just looking for opinions, what might be it. Initially I forgot to add any tags to it. About 2 months ago, added some tags, nothing changed in the way it performs.

I think I waste a lot of time on tags... I don't think they really do much these days. It is odd though that it is being recommended as it has no description.... maybe people are just searching for Urals?

According to statistics, search percentage did increase after adding tags. It's now just over 1% of all views. It used to be 0. something, before I added tags :D
But the fact that the subject matter and thumbnail are Ural, could definitely have something to do with it.
The videos that the video has been recommended on, is not constantly the same, so I don't think the majority of viewers hare specifically looking for Ural, but they might somehow be interested in it. Maybe they are confusing the frontend with the new BMW cruiser and that's why they click on the link? :D

That's one of those videos that has continuous interest - even if it's not by a ton of people.

I see videos get pushed by YT frequently. Something triggers a push for anywhere from 3 to 96 hours. From my experience, as long as the CTR stays above 3.3% and the AVD stays above 20%, YT keeps pushing.

As for tags, YT themselves have said they don't count much, if at all. It's all about the title/thumbnail/description triumvirate. Where tags help, for me at least, is in search traffic as you saw, but also in creating my related blog posts - they take tags, and it's copy and paste :D
