Who Eles Is Having This Go Pro Problam

so you go film some good stuff, come home and put on your pc only to have a pop up thats says "this operation returned because the timeout period expired" when you try to copy over your video files

Try the USB into the camera if you're putting the SD inbthe computer, or vice versa.

Try to format the SD card, though I caution that it will wipe your data. After that, reinstall the latest update to the GoPro.

I have actually not heard of this. A quick search shows its likely a problem with your computer there's a number of apparent fixes for this. I'd bet your files are fine

Were you copying more than one file at once? Could be too much load. The PC can have a fart and often wipe files when copying.

How are you copying the files into the PC? Are you connecting the camera to the PC? Are you inserting the SD card into the PC? Are you directly copying or using the GoPro software to transfer?
