What Tyres/tires Are You Running??

Booking the bike in for new tyres this week ready for this "heat wave" we're meant to be getting. Was wondering what kinda tyres your running and on what bike?

I'm looking at the BT-023/021's if anyone runs them now any feedback on them would be much appreciated.

I ran Road Attack 2's prior, sticky edges just shame they square about 2k in.

BT-023's on my ZX6R were amazing, had constant grip in the cold/warm/hot/wet. Never lost grip on those tyres once and they're pretty cheap in the world of tyres.

I've got BT-023's on mine.

My tire guy told me not to get the other one as there far too soft. The touring one is dual compound so you get the best of both worlds.

i run Pirelli Diablo Corsa III. sometimes i can't even do a burnout the bike starts to jump around because of how much grip it has. they are amazing tires.

My factory tires cracked like crazy Metzeler ME880. I have switched to Dunlop American Elite. And I really like the Dunlops ride and handling. They are so much better than the Metzler. But I ride a Cruiser.

Hey man! I used to run Bridgetone Battleax BT016's on my zx6r and then switched to Pilot Powers. I've just come to terms with the fact that they are not ideal for road use in the Netherlands. I've noticed there's so many straight roads, it's difficult to keep your tyres rounded and the extra grip (that comes at the cost of wear) is rarely used.

I've since switched to BT-023's and they are a lot better. They stay very rounded although I'm noticing they get quite warm on proper sporty rides. I really like their durability though. No problem getting knees down and very well behaved when there's crap on the road. Pretty decent in the wet, but superb in drying conditions. Probably getting them again when these wear out.

i love my diablos. its different compounds in the center and the edges. my pilot flattened out and would rub the chain. I'm running bigger then stock size. i haven't had that problem at all with the same size diablos.

I'm running Dunlop GT601 on mine. The grip is pretty good and I think they'll last around 18,000 km or so. That's just an estimate though. I'm at 15,000 km on my front and that's how it's looking. Decent traction on wet and good in the corners.

They lasted a long time on the ZX6R till a concrete building rod went through it lol, only thing they is they took the road with them when sticky

I'm running;

Yamaha R125 - Pirelli Sport Demon.
These are pretty good for the R125. Good level of grip in dry and wet, although this is my commuter bike and the only stressful part of the commute is one roundabout thats huge, so no real lean angle.

Honda CBR929RR - Avon Storm 2
These tyres were fitted when I bought the bike and have just stuck with the same. Have used the bike in dry, wet, ice and snow. Obviously taking it much easier on the throttle during the winter months. The grip in the rain is amazing and at times I forget about the wet roads.
