What Makes People Want To Watch A Motovlog?

What exactly is it about watching a motovlog that makes us want to watch more of them.
Is it the fact that you can get so immersed in the video and watching the movement of a motorbike or the person talking? Or anything else? A mix of everything?
Obviously it varies from person to person I guess.

Its a mix of things for me #1 I love bikes,# 2 I'm interested in people and enjoy watching riders from around the world, #3 the movement is a factor you get memorised by it and its a window into other countries and places. #4 some people are just characters and funny as fuck.

I see, so is there anything that you would not enjoy during a motovlog? Such as bad image and audio quality or anything else?
I think this is an interesting subject, I like hearing about what makes people enjoy different things

Bad audio always makes staying with a video hard.

If the vlogger is playing up to the cam then I'm gone.

I quite like the vlogs that are just a rider enjoying their day really. I guess It's chewing gum for the brain

I have become interested in the lives of others, what they doing , what they seeing etc.
also i watch shadetree surgeons videos because i wanna do nasty stuff to lil jess. Not his girlfriend (I would just be polite with her), but the other one

I have stopped watching Jake and co because they just playing with groms, or practicing wheelies.

Audio is definitely key, I have long struggled with it. Whether the rider is talking or not bad audio is a put off.
I watched some of my earlier ones that I have on youtube and they are bloody awful. Hopefully now though I have my audio sorted. I like to watch the guys that go out of town and demonstrate their skill and control on our lovely british b roads. The one in town are not that interesting unless the rider has a particularly good subject.
sometimes its just the character of the rider coming through that I pick up on, and in that scenario the subject matter is secondary because I am just being entertained. I do not include guys like jake and 6foot in any of this as there style does not appeal to me. Riding with tom and bakerx are good though.

I always find myself on Derek's channel. I like his editing style mixed with his personality and riding style, seems to keep me entertained. Riding wit Tom was the first motovlogger i ever watched and I still do, when he occasionally uploads anyhow ;)

Speaking about editing styles.
Thats the only good thing about walteriffic (Or what ever he is called) . I love his editing , the rage faces etc

There are many niches within the scene.

Some people like crash vids or road rage. Others like stories, reviews etc. You can try and put out a mix of content but it seems short little episodes works best on Youtube.

I like motovloggers with funny accents too. Makes the swearing funnier, ala Shadetree, Backroad Moto, Marbro...

Chris and Al are a good example of stuff I like. They're Australian so they're a good laugh and they're always messing things up.
