Caesar342, If you're basing your tea drinking experiences on that piss that Liptons call tea, then I can see why you don't like it. As a general rule of thumb, if the teabag has a string attached to it, it's crap. Get yourself a small bag of Ty-Phoo or PG Tips, maybe some Twinings (but in the US that may have the strings, but that's acceptable in this case).

Cold tea is an American "Thing" that started with the Boston Tea Party... All that tea was dumped into the Atlantic Ocean, which is COLD... So now we just drink hot coffee.(true story)
 
mainly drink hot tea, but from time to time I'll venture in drinking cold iced tea....different story if it were Iced Coffee ;)

Haha Things change this side of the Atlantic :lol: Speaking of which my Grandma makes me a drink called 'london fog' which is earl grey, steamed milk and vanilla. Very nice :)
