What Can I Use To Blank The Speedo?

Trying to save myself from one more edit, what's best to blank the speedo/dash? I've seen Royal Jordanian's got something nowadays.

Do you think like laptop privacy screens would do it?

Ideally I'd want to see, but the camera not to without losing the angle.

RJ reckons Iphone / phone privacy screens can work well - I did test one sometime ago and it worked pretty well

Yeah, the privacy screen is a good idea. It should work the same and narrow the viewing angle. If the camera looks dead on though it will still show up most likely.

I'll give it a shot, just bought one from eBay for 99p. I'll post some pictures/ if it worked or not once it comes.

They work OK if you have settings on your camera or software that crushes black detail like RJ has. If you don't crush the blacks it doesn't work that well.

Good point. Throw some levels on it if it's too clear.

I just use the auto tracker in Premiere works well for me. Privacy screen is a bit shit to be honest.

Try putting two layers of privacy screen in different orientation just for fun and see how it works.
