Well I Feel Like A Tit.....

BlackMamba

WINNER!
Well I feel like a tit, went for an amazing solo ride round Donington, saw some of the most beautiful country side and one of the best sun sets in years. All topped out with a great monolog about the area and history ……. guess who forgot to push record.

Me=Prize tit!

I’m now going to stand in the corner of shame………..

Anyone else done anything as stupid as this….

I did indeed, I learnt a valuable lesson here:

Mods, I believe posting is allowed if someone asked for a video. Please let me know if it isn't.

Most I've done so far is when I recorded a vlog... and had the mic cable not pushed in properly.
Cue: video of absolute silence.

You don't want to know how many times I have done that very same thing. Minus the scenery though, I rarely drive trough anything that is awesome looking that does not involve man made structures.

Vids in threads are fine for genuine supplementation.

Think we've all forgotten to press record or bothered checking whether the cam has locked up or not, like mine did today...

Oh man that is bad but the worst is when you press record and the audio is not there for what ever reason. Motovlogger problems haha

My first couple attempts at motovlogs, my camera stopped recording after 30-40 seconds. Turned out to be my SD card wasn't fast enough.

I definitely know the feeling. One of those vlogs I ended up doing again because it was actually a topic I wanted to talk about. The other one I just forgot about.

Well I have just gone to edit what was an awesome vlog recorded 2 months ago and... the mic had fallen out after only a short bit of filming!

Eurgh... gutted!

Had something similar happen yesterday on the way home except I lucked out. The camera stopped recording on the last leg of the trip AFTER I had a big sportbike MC roll past me on Ortega Highway. When I got home and saw the battery was dead I was shitting bricks for a few minutes until I was able to check the footage.

ARGH! In the vein of this thread, I've just a case where I've missed out on prime Idiocy footage.
Scenario: Motorway, at 70mph and I spot the car in front looks like they're on their phone. I pull up beside to confirm.
Nope, she's applying make up. At 70mph. During rush hour.
I wave at her beside the window [probably should have blared the horn, to see if it'd ruin the eyeliner she was doing] and there's not even a hint of noticing.

I get home to discover I'd forgotten to restart my camera after stopping to get off my bike a little earlier.
GAH!

When I was first getting my cam setup. I was not using a gopro adapter for the external mic so about an hour or so of video with no audio.
It was not until my second recording and new mic that I found out I needed a gopro adapter.
