Riding dangerously but gave up when caught...

Reporter...

HE PUT UP A FIGHT HE DID NOT MAKE IT EASY FOR THE OFFICER TO PUT HIM IN CUFFS!!!

What a load of shit... he waggled is legs cause his arms hurt from being bent back so far.

What a useless reporter... just wanting to dramatise an event... and people listen to them!

Thank god I'm not the only one...
I commented on the video:
He did not put up a fight... god damn, female reporters... for fucks sake. He laid on the ground, turned over and put his hands behind his back... He just squirmed because the cop had his knees and hands in his spine... Fuck I can't stand dumb fucking reporters twisting the fucking facts.

Not to be sexist by the way, but I really do only notice it in female reporters. I'd be just as ticked if it came from a guy though.

That's normal riding for out here... I think I might have to postpone my Pan-America highway trip until the US laws are relaxed ;)
I don't fancy having some guy stick his knees into my back after I've surrendered while he further bends my arms right up behind my shoulder blades while I'd be wearing leather... just doesn't seem ergonomically comfortable! :P

Great fun to watch the bike riding from the air-cam... I think that's the next investment... I want a Ariel cam!

And people wonder why I don't like cops.

thunderous, I was watching the vid with my wife before I read the comments, and I swear we had the same exact thing to say about that bitch for a reporter. Then she makes me want to puke talking about how the cop was in danger... He just stopped on the side of the road hoping the guy would just give up. Which he obviously did. That rider could have easily just gone behind Erik Estrada, and BTW how the hell did he(Erik) get the harley off the trailer so damn fast.

very hight rate of speed? close to being squeezed between traffic? god that's what I call filtering... can't beleive they wouldn't let him put the bike on the prop stand either :/ probably close to breaking his arm too. argh this news gets to me, he wasn't at great risk, the guy stopped, was trying to put the bike on the stand before being charged at by a guy with a gun. Meh as much as I'd love to go to the US, all these videos have a nack for putting me off the idea.

Yeah we don't have the calmest cops in the world... lol. If this happened over there they would be like "Excuse me sir, but I noticed you were going a bit fast and didn't stop earlier. I'm going to have to arrest you now, mate, sorry about that. If you don't mind, I'm just going to slip these handcuffs on. Is that too tight?"

He did not put up a fight, and the cop just about broke his arms out of spite. The biker was a dick and a retard for riding like that and running from the cops, but the cop was being a dick too. The real losers are the biking community at large with the bad rap we all get for crap like this.

Exactly this ^^… also "...without any further violence…"? LOL - I guess these guys are taking the lead from FOX News! I still kill myself laughing every time I see that video where they used Call of Duty game footage as "news" on what was happening in some country…. hahaha :)

Can you post up a link? plz
I tried to find it on my own with no luck.

I never see the point in running from the police. I presume he had a plate, so even if he did escape then they would know where to live and where to find him

He got a bit close to the cars but most of the time he was just chilling and performing smooth turns - I don't see what all that fuzz is about.
What seemed more dangerous to me than the riders behaviour were all the cars driving side to side at the same speed.

I think your find that may have been the ARMA footage used as an IRA attack...

That's 100% epic fail!!!   Footage from 1988... That game wasn't even released until 2006.

Makes all riders look bad. However, I won't suprised that the reporters were making it more dramatic then what it actually is. Living close to LA, there are quite few police chases. Come to think of it, there was one here in my town several days ago and ended only about a block away from where I work. The reporters said he had hit several cars, and crashed into the wall (where it ended). I saw no damaged whatsoever on the wall nor the truck. One of the officers in the chase (there were about 8 cars) who stops by my work now and then because of calls, came in the following day. I asked him about it and he said nothing in which the newcasters claimed were accurate. At least the got the suspect's name and race correct
