Victory purchase!?

Just saw a 2013 city need victory cross country in blue with 1,000 miles on it. Command cut engine and floor boards, suede heated seat, custom mirrors, grips, and graphics. Plus all the cross country extras like cruise control. Would you buy it?

Yes, if that is what I wanted. Since they are Polaris, an Indian Dealer should be able to service it. I do believe that the Cross Country was developed about the same time as the Chief Road master with the adjustable shield. Be sure to research any heat and handling problems.

You could leverage the brand being discontinued for your advantage on price and/or extended warranty.

Don't worry about it not being @HippoDrone cup of tea. If he was over here, he would want a bagger to vagabond across the states too.

It's use to sell for 25,000$. Seems like a steal

25k new seems too high. Used with all that, I might consider it for 15 but I would definately research any issues those bikes may have.

That bike sure has a nice looking engine. Too much gear, for my taste, but a stripped down model, with the same engine, would definitely please my eye.

I just don't fit these big bikes, wish I did as it would open options up to me :)
Is this due to your height? These big bikes often have very low seats, so don't rule them out, before trying.

It is the reach to the bars and pegs I can't do. I took a demo on a Harley 48 a while back and it was so uncomfortable with me stretching to reach everything I found it horrid to do anything other than motorways

Did it have the draw bars setup?

Well, then it is sure, that chromes are not for you, because this is a category of bikes, that are workpieces, and everyone does a little something to theirs, to truly make it theirs :P
