I liked how you described the crocker spaniel!

We adopted a stray hound a few years ago. He is very quiet and aloof at times. Then a year or so after that, we adopted a stray kitten. She always runs to the door to greet me after work. Has to have me give her back scratching. She also enjoys video games and hanging out with the hound.

Both are a lot of work with all the house cleaning. Neither wants to use the vacuum. The hound wanders off when it is running and the cat just sits and watches.

You can always attach a broom to the tail of the dog. When it gets excited it should clean up quite nicely
