So im currently uploading a test video and its telling me, "We did not recognize the format of this file, but we will try to process it anyway. See this article on recommended formats for more information." However in that article it states that they recognize .MOV which this is... I'm uploading a raw video from my HDD taken directly off my Drift HD micro SD. Thoughts? Its uploading but I'm wondering if there is something I could do better.

There are (generally) two levels of encoding in a video file. The outer level that we normally see (MOV, MP4, etc) specifies how the enclosed tracks are encoded into one file. Once decoded, this produces a number of tracks (video, audio, captions, effects, etc) each of which is also encoded (referred to as a codec: AAC, MP3, H264, etc). There are also different versions of some of these.
It may be that one of the codecs used on one of the tracks is not compatible, or the video encoding itself was corrupted...
