I am always surprised at how nasty those super sports look from factory when we're talking tail section. Actually, just about every bike has that problem nowadays. Thank the maker for aftermarket!

It's kind of silly. You take a sleek bike and they just slap those whale tails on like an after thought. This really turned out sleek though.

I agree, I can't figure out why in the world they design these sleek beautiful machines and then slap a huge ugly fender on the back of it!

Thanks guys :)

I'm amazed that's legal. They definitely wouldn't allow that in the UK or Switzerland.

Looks loads better.
Yeah....about that....it's one of those grey areas, where it's not really legal, but at the same time it's not really illegal. As long as you can read the plate it's good.

But turn signals are supposed to be 9" apart apparently. However, if you're not being a fool around police, they tend to not care. I passed several policeman just yesterday, and always just go the respectful nod or wave.

Yearh, cant get away with that in Australia either, not even in the ballpark of legal for us. But I wish it was, would have been awesome to tidy up mine like that.

In Va the plate has to be visible from 50ft. It may be visible from 50 without you on it but I have seen cops make you sit on the bike and then see if it is visible. Great looking bike though!

That is legal in Texas as long as there is a light to illuminate the plate at night, making it visible from 50 feet and letters and numbers on the plate itself are not obscured in any way. It is possible, though, that you may have to prove it in court if you get pulled over and the officer writes a ticket based on his own presumptions of the law. That happens sometimes down here.
