Ugly Bike?

So I ride a KLR and I've been told many a time that it's just an ugly bike. So now I've taken to trying to get pictures that make the bike look as cool as a KLR can...when not covered in mud.

This particular picture was recently purchased by Kawasaki, for what I have no idea....but hell yeah

Once this spring hits I'm sure I'll start shooting the KLR again

i would love to have tryed one of these before i got the v-strom but as above dont sell them here :(

I really like it, but it could use more white parts. Maybe the sides of the saddle bags and tail, otherwise its mostly black which makes it look bigger at the front where the white is, messing up proportions.
Its not ugly, design just came 2nd to function as it should be.

Because I'm shallow and need the validation....Seriously though if I really cared what people thought about my bike I wouldn't have gotten rid of my ninja for a KLR lol. Or would have spent more and got a KTM or BMW. I love the KLR

I think the KLR is an awesome bike and looks great. People who hate on bikes are not bike enthusiasts they are just fan boys of what ever they have or want.

It don't matter what others see it as. As long as you like it (otherwise why did you pick it lol) and that its purposeful to you. It looks like it'd be lots of fun tearing up the paddock in the 1st pic!

In the first pic I was about 10 miles deep in to Kentucky field country. That one thing I love about living where I live. There is always a way to criss cross field roads to get anywhere. Which is also why the KLR appealed to me more than a smaller dual sport, I needed the larger gas tank, and I didn't need it to go that fast. 60MPH is usually the fastest I need to go. It's the perfect bike for where I live. It can also tackle a bit of mud...

Unfortunately our old Jap thumpers won't win any beauty contests, but the appeal is mostly in their functionality
