The R1 has a very distinctive sound also. But if your at a biker cafe/meet the sound of the Triumph or R1 lets you know what sort of bike you are turning to look at. Any other exhaust note and apart from it been a Harley rumble all other bikes sound much the same.interesting i had an r1 before and i understand that loud grumbly noise that we all love but idk if fallen in love with my triumph and i might even dare say more than the r1
