And you know full well that if you initially tried to explain the bike drama that her face would glaze over with boredom .... Until you mention going to the parts shop for spares ... "How much is that going to cost!?!?" .... Then you have to rapidly halve or even quarter the likely costs in your head ...... And she STILL gets the shits cos you "pay more attention to that damn bike than me" ..... Then you mutter 'well the bike does what I want when I want and doesn't whinge' .... She uses the superwoman hearing they only develop in this situation .... Hears perfectly for once .... And you in the shit even worse!!! ........
