Those are THE only ever comments which are made by non-riders lol. You get the occasional "WOW nice bike!"

My Answer Normally : oh its really tricky, theres this throttle thing and this clutch thing .. i wiggle them around ... something happens in the engine thingy and the crunchy noisy thingy?.... ummm gearbox??.... and it goes forward! ... tricky ..

Funny article! My favorite is always the excuse people in Florida use for not getting a bike... "Oh I'd get one... But I'd never want to ride it in the city with these drivers the way they are..." It's always that excuse... I'd get one but... Don't waste my time with what you're NOT going to do.

Yes non riders are annoying, but riders who are intolerant of any other type of bike besides the ones they like are more annoying.

That's gotta be the dumbest thing I've heard.... What's the difference?! You bike is transporting one human... So every car that's only transporting one human shouldn't be able to park either!

I told them it wasn't my fault people were being lazy and driving to work when they live round the corner, yet I have to commute 8 miles to get there. Want a car parking space? Get there early like I do.
Plus my bike is pretty big and wide at the front..
In the end I got forced to park on the pavement!
I swear majority of car drivers see us as 2nd class citizens where we're not even entitled to park at work.

That is one of the best things in the world, kids saying hi! in cars/vans. I love when there's a bunch of them in a van (here vans are used as "school buses") and nothing happening when one kid sees you trough the window, you say hi then he says to the other kiddies what he saw and they all turn around to wave.

There's a train that goes trough a park here, I was once waiting on an intersection for the train to pass, it was full of kids, they went nuts!. It totally made my day.

Lol ... School buses ... Over the years been on a lot of interstate truck trips ... Afternoon school bus time, get 'stuck' behind a country bus lumbering along.... The 'cool kids' in the back seat waving and making the honk horn arm pump ... I'd stay deadpan and not react for 30 seconds or so..... Then just as they starting to lose interest .... Bust into a full on 'elmo hand waving' and horn honking session for 10 seconds ... Used to crack them up!!
