My Nan and Auntie live on Rhodes... will be paying them a visit next year for two weeks hoping to hire a bike when I'm over there.

You gonna be disappointed about the bikes you can hire. Only some scooters and those probably if you go with 10 miles in a road bump you will loose your exhaust
