The price of potholes

Saw this over the weekend...

This gives me PTSD from the time I hit rockfall in DEATH VALLEY and cracked both my rims. I wish I'd been doing the video thing back then. My AAA membership really paid off with my 150 mile tow.

Man, I know what you mean about those rockfalls. I was riding at night up the highway from Globe to Phoenix when I zipped around the corner and a large fallen rock was in about a third of right side of the lane.

Luckily I was doing the outside, inside, outside line so I just drifted slightly to the left and went by it.

What makes me cringe is when the little pothole I think is nothing ends up being big enough to make the bike go "clang".

Good way to need steering stem bearings.

I hate when you just about see a lot hole and can’t quite avoid it in time too.
