I def think it would help getting a helmet mount of some sort for your camera

Yep definitely. I just saw that ruroc will be releasing a chin mount bracket soon (chaseontwowheels' latest video) and I THINK that will be a solution for me to mount it on the chinbar of my modular helmet.
