Subtitles

Hi guys,
The main language of my videos is french, so I put english subtitles.

But I have a question :

Do you prefer when the subtitles is "forced" on the video or do you prefer when you have to click on the parameters/cc icon to enable or disable it?
Do you even notice a video with enable/disable possibility in YT video?

Anyway, it's very important for me to know what you think about this, because the main goal of my motovlog is to share another vision of motorcycle in another country.

Id say English subs optional from the player buttons, but maybe a caption stating English subtitles are available.

When you link YouTube videos on English speaking sources you can use a flag in the URL to turn on the subtitles by default for anyone using that link:

i d aso say optional, but i hate the youtube system. re writing it all takes longer then editing !!

i hope they come up with a better system...

to your question. no i wouldn t watch french with english subs personally

but my german channel subs have been asking me to write german subs for my english vids.
