Stalled out rofl

Stalled bike at a green light this morning, then ran a red to fix the problem. Car behind got stuck at the light. I have no explanation for why. I just blew it. What's your stall out story. Mine was embarrassing. But I own that =)

Haven't got a stalling story but have tipped over at the fuel pump, my foot was stuck under the peg so couldn't get out.

An old man with a walking frame helped me out...

I got kicked out of a bar once, landlord and bouncer stayed at the door watching me go, I jumped on my bike opposite started it up, threw them the "V" and reved the engine like mad, pulled off and then ding..... disk lock locked the front end and I stalled the bike dropping it.... I used to wear 10 hole Dr Martin boots back then with the laces loose, handlebar went straight down the inside of my boot pinning me to it too close to lever the bike up.... had to get a lass walking past to help me get it up (ooo-errr misses) while the landlord and bouncer laughed at me lol :D

...And that is how I met your mother

Sorry I couldn't help it once the lady entered the story.o_O

Damn, =)

My previous bike - Suzuki VS800. It is a pain to get the carbs synced. When you do it in too cold or too warm, the bike will just not run, in the opposite "extreme". So, second year of riding the bike, carb sync was done early in the spring, in about 5-6 C, and it was just not working well in 25C. It kept stalling, when I was braking hard. And that happened a lot, in the town traffic.
Also one day, in front of the house I lived in, I was doing a U turn. There were some young dudes in the parking lot, and right in front of them, in the middle of the turn, the engine stalled. And of course I fell. Damaged rear turn signal, footpeg and ego.
A side note about the carb sync. Manual said, 10mmHg difference between carbs is considered as synced. That was not even close of engine sounding or acting well. When the difference was less than 2mmHg, the sound and behaviour of the engine suddenly changed. It was smooth, and revved like sportsbike. But it had to be done at around 15C, to be able to ride the whole season.

Hippo has everyone beat. Cannot top that one! My moment was back in highschool, was riding aggressively away from a light on a very busy city street. I revved the engine when I somehow missed the 2nd gear shift, I heard about it the next day from friends that were walking the same street at that moment. Ya know today that is totally normal, anybody watch the Canadian motovlogger Snowcat?? That SOB revs on everyone, I find it so annoying!!!
