Personally I think it would have to be a well done trike. The Spyder just looks like a jet ski with wheels bolted on to it.

I think this is It's fatal flaw. They need a redesign. It's a shame. They ride way better than a trike. Harely trikes do not have independent suspension. Spyder does.

They dislike it entirely because of their bias towards Harleys and the sunk-cost fallacy, that's my guess.

Anyway, I like the looks of the Spyder. it's like a roadworthy Snowmobile and should be considered as such. Though, as someone who is able to lanesplit I think all wide cycle-esque vehicles like Trikes, Nikkons, Spyders etc have the cons of both cars and bikes, and neither of the advantages. If I was rendered unable to keep a bike balanced I'd prob get a Spyder.
