Ok SO I just joined trying to help someone out can can not even post a link to some images to help show someone how I did something. I was not even putting a link Just pulling the images in. What the heck. Sorry I can understand If someone is putting up urls to some place but I was just trying to have images of the way I was doing something On my camera set up. I could not even point anyone to my Pbase picture account what the heck is up with that?

External linking was restricted for new members, and gets released after an amount of posts and an amount of time. 15 posts and 5 days I think.

This was done to stop forum spam, and also to stop those who used motovlog purely as a place to promote videos. The forum has improved as a community since, so it does work.

Not sure what the score is with uploading photos direct, although there is a size limit. I'm sure @dandoolittle will be able to check and clarify attaching photos within posts for new members.

If you're trying to link the images, it's still a link so it will be blocked by the anti spam I'm afraid
