So who's going abroad with their bike this Summer?

I'd love to do it, but I'm a long long way from an easy Southern crossing, and the Hull crossing is so damned expensive. Plus I don't trust the Virago yet.

But who is planning a long road adventure on their bike to foreign lands, and where are you going, alone or with a group, with your bike or hiring out there, planned at home or joining an organised adventure?

Isle of man for the manx gp then thrashing my bike around the legendary course for 9 days

If I have time I might try to ride to Mexico in the autumn. Depends if others can make it as well.

I had a trip to Machu Picchu, Peru planned for April this year but stuff happened and I had to cancel. I even sorted out some time out from work and at the end I couldn't go.
I will probably try again in october when another group takes off and if I get new gear.

If I can't make it to Peru, I'll settle for a trip to a few other provinces inside the country. I only got out of my city in one opportunity and was only ~150km away.

Not this summer but next summer I'm riding my 2005 636 down from Vancouver, BC to California.
