Slight speeding in videos?

Hi All,

I recently put up a video which i'm not sure whether I should take down, the video shows some slight speeding and don't want to end up like the other plonkers that get caught. I'm not talking massively speeding, only about 5-10 mph

I'm pretty much speeding in every video I make, just not excessively. I think if you ride like a twit and draw attention to yourself, you're in trouble, but as long as the speeding is not excessive or dangerous, you should be fine.

No speedo is spot on so if you're going 10mph over then you would most likely be doing half of that. Hence speed traps give you a tiny bit a room. I prefer to keep the cam slightly above the speedo though, just in case

For some strange reason, if I drift slightly over the speed limit, accidently of course, my bike has a defence mechanism.

That really was a surreal moment as he was on his lonesome, in the middle of nowhere(ish), with just a pub down the road.

I've been stopped a lot (my record was 3 times in 1 day) and been let off a lot too.
In my experience the police are really only interested in dangerous driving rather than general speeding.

Speed isn't dangerous if the conditions are right.

That said, I usually blur my clocks if the camera catches them (even when I'm under the limit)... because it only takes a minute to do and drops any risk to 0

Yeah think i may start doing the same, usually i don't speed with the camera on but sometimes I don't notice till i'm doing 40 in a 30 etc

speedo is wrong when the gearing is revised

tbh it is quite hard with the distance of your cam to the speedo to tell what you are doing lol
