Looking for some suggestions here.
Was going to get something like these http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/extr ... saddlebags for my zx6r.

However now with my new zx10r, with the way my dual exhaust is I'm worried about how they'll sit.

Anyone have a bike with similar exhausts that they've found side bags that work well?
Here's a picture of how my exhaust is. I'm just not sure if I trust the bags sitting against the covers all the time.

I never had a problem with my soft luggage resting against a heat shield, but that stuff came with a pad that doubled as a heat shield too.

Personally I'd say find a set of proper hard cases for it.

A bit pricey but worth every penny. I had a set of saddlebags before these that I had to stop and adjust every 100 miles. If they got wet they sagged so bad they almost touched the rear wheel. These are great. They stay put and even hold up well in rain. They have these bars that attach to the bike and support the bags. That should help with your exhaust concerns too.

That link might not be the right ones for your bike. I didn't know what year yours is so make sure you look for the ones for your year model.
