Sena/Scala + Easy Voice Recorder

Hey Guys,

I have an android phone and I currently found that that using my Scala G4 synced to my phone with the app Easy voice recorder pro you can record the audio to your phone with no problem.

What I am attempting to do is be on the Scala with my buddy and record to my phone however right when I start to record I disconnect with my friend.

I know there is a way to do it since others have been successful so I wanted to know if others knew more about it.

You cannot do that. When you start recording the phone switches the scala to headset mode to use the BT mic, the scala thinks you're in a phone call and drops the other connection until the "call" recording ends.

If you're referring to people like YourPalsChrisAndAl, they're using the scala as an intercom and they record the audio you hear on the video using the drift camera on each helmet, then they mix the audio from the two cameras. The cameras and the intercomm aren't connected. You're not hearing BT audio on the videos.

Bt will sound like this, like a phone call. He's using a different setup here.

This could work with the Sena - when it drops the intercom to take a call, you can then put the call on conference and both head sets are connected to the call.
