Sena Headset Recommendations..

Greetings peeps.

I've just ordered the SMH10, which seems decent enough but maybe I should fork out that little bit extra to get the 20S...

Any thoughts on the Senas?

I fancy ease of use tbh and the SMH10 seems like I'd be fannying around with it a bit more.

I'll definitely get use out of it.

Cheers for any responses guys ;)

I'm using the SMH10-R.

The only issue I can say with it is I have one pair of gloves that I find it difficult to work out which button is which.

As you are going the 20 with the jog dial it wont be a issue. The unit is solid as though. Just make sure if you are using a iPhone its on the right settings for music before you take off. Half the time I hit play on mine and it starts some random youtube clip I was watching.

i just got my sena 20s in today i like it so far but i havent tested it on the bike yet but its nice to be able to call people and listen to music without having to bring head phone

there is also a 3.5 MM earbud option, if you dont want to put the earphones under the helmet pads. though I think some states dont allow earbuds and riding

I had the sena 10s and got a 20s i thought you could record and lissten to music. Well that is not correct which really pissed me off. But you can listen to music and talk to whoever you paired your device to and it adjust lts volume. Can control some things on your phone. Its actually coo and has nice features. I think you should get it if the difference in amount is not too big.

I can't work out which version of the 10 I'd want. Theres a 10, 10s, 10r. Some ads say BT 4.1, some say BT 3.0 and they all seem to be similar spec - and price.

I went 20S partly because it was only a few bucks more than some on the 10s. I don't know a lot about the specs on the others. I will say that the 20S has the larger speakers which caused some issues with my install, so be sure you have a bit of room or good recesses at the ears if you go that route

The quality on the 20 is awesome, but I can't give you a comparison to the rest of the range.

SMH 10 here....speakers are trash but work pretty well for basic comms and nav.
