Sena 20s And Gp10

Ok I have just recently started Vlogging. Not just Motovlogging.

I do not have a group to ride with at the moment but I have taken a couple of trips with my sister and brother inlaw following in their car. I talk to them on Cell phone. I just recently changed my set up. I was using a wired mic on my Gopro 4. I had Cardo G4s which one died on me on a trip July 3rd. So I upgraded to a Pair of Sena 20s and also picked up a Sena GP10 BT backpack. Now I keep reading that I can record while on the phone.

Now last night I was making a Motovlog and I was about 20 min in to my 1.5hour ride I got a phone call from my sister. Figured well this should work great for testing it out. I answered the phone. Well when I went through the video last night the Audio was great right up to where I answered the phone then I had NO audio at all.

Can anyone tell me what exactly I need to do to get this set up to work with recording my phone calls?

Thanks,

My Nolan BT shuts off externals for a call, I guess it's to keep the call from being broadcast rider to rider or rider to pillion. Sorry can't think of a way round as I'm not familiar with your kit.

I am going to try something this weekend. I have a little BT transmitter. I am going to make a couple of splitters to tap into the Mic and Speakers on the Sena 20s and use that to go into the tiny BT transmitter that would theoretically feed all audio that it hears to the GP10 backpack. Therefore It would not mater weather I was using intercom or Phone it should transmit everything it hears. Since it would just be plugged in it could just be a temp when I want to do record a conference. If it works well It may even allow me to continue to listen to music while recording also. I could just unplug the Headset portion. Oh well right now it is just a Theory in my head I have to get it all wired together to see if it works.
