Would it not be better to compile a playlist of all the entries and refer to that? Rather than reference to ALL the other entries in your description? Just my two cents.

Grouping by playlist sounds good. Everyone gets to be in the playlist and one shall be the greatest, I mean, winner. Nice idea @Chcknstrps.

Dan is looking at Google spreadsheets, but it makes sense for the playlist to be in one place wherever it is. Doesn't really matter who "owns" the playlist, as the videos stay on the respective channels.

I think whoever owns the playlist doesn't really matter, in terms of on YT, your playlist can consist of other people's videos, it's just a way of grouping videos and doesn't really impact much apart from the suggested videos pane when viewing the video. You don't take or lose views on your video based on a playlist someone created.

That's what I think anyway. I could be totally wrong.

That is correct, a playlist is no different to your Watch later list, other than you can make it public.
