Random YT issue

Here's one you guys may or may not have had encountered.

I've tried messaging one of my subscribers on YT and the message is obliterated by my profile image.

Also, since YT has now gone Google mad and linked directly to Gmail, WHERE THE HELL IS THE OPTION TO VIEW MY PERSONAL MESSAGES IN MY YT CHANNEL :lol:

The only way I can access them now is through the link in an email notification

To open your personal messages, click on your name and picture in the top right and then inbox

As for the massive profile picture, I haven't a clue. I just tried it and I can't even get my profile picture to appear at all, let alone huge.

That is completely different to mine.

I'm guessing it's because you have a Google account that you use on Youtube, like the last problem.
My account is from before that, but it's linked with my Google account. I use my Google account to log in.

There's no way of setting up a new YT account now without doing it this way thru Google. My personal YT channel is totally different but I've had that years.

I'm not surprised. I'm guessing there must be a way to do it, but I just don't know how.
Those settings only refer to your channel layout, unfortunately won't make a difference to the top of the page :|
