Quadgates At Railroad Crossings...

I'm not to sure how many people would be interested in this topic, but recently I've been following that deadly train accident north of NYC. I hear on the news, the reports say "Experts aren't sure how to remedy cars from stopping on tracks." or something to that effect :p . There's only one thing I can think of and someone please tell me otherwise why they wouldn't work - "quad gates". Besides being pricey, don't 'ya think these make a little more sense then the standard two gates :p ;) ???:...

(the two gates everyone knows :p :)

Quad gates:
(I have no idea why the stupid bells stop on these back east ~_~ - bad for blind people :p ~.....)

...they keep people from attempting to go around the gates or even stopping on the tracks  (in fear of getting stuck between gates :p )... and if you have any doubt if you're on the tracks or not, look for all the flashing lights in front and behind of you :p .

They have them everywhere in Japan:...

...yes, they're not foolproof... but besides costing a boatload, what's keeping U.S. railroads from installing more of these  ??? Clueless ~_~ .....
