Boogie2988 asks youtube to fix the comments section changes it has made. I think he has a point, and as someone that has just started vlogging I must say I don't like the new comments system either.

No amount of complaining will give the old system back. People need to move on and embrace the change.

I actually like the new comments system the reason its not working 100% is because to get the most out of it EVERYONE needs to be on Google+. Thats is what is causing the problem.

Agreed. However, you don't actually have to USE it. Just have an account, preferably one that's tied to your YT. I -never- use G+, but since I have the stupid page I haven't had any real issues with comments. Replying is as easy as clicking the 'reply' button.

if it didn't break me uploading from finalcut it would be just annoying... sign up.. and never go on google- and carry on... but when I was forced to sign up now I can't upload directly from FCP anymore. and the youtube helpdesk droids just say.. sorry not trained for that...... to say I dislike google right now would be a mild understatement.

I never had any problems with it except for the first day. My account was already linked to a G+ page, so I didn't have to change anything luckily. It's been better these past few days. However, the funny thing is Google is going to say G+ has seen a huge increase in user base because they just keep forcing it down everybody's throats with all of their products. It's kind of ridiculous. I wish they wouldn't force people to use it.

Yeah, it would be nice if they'd stick to their motto. Unfortunately once a company starts making boatloads of cash they tend to turn evil.

i dont mean to be "that guy" but, am i the only one that;s had a google+ account tied to my youtube account for a little bit before it was mandatory. they suggested i do it before i started thinking about uploading, so i did. haven't had any problems since. i just never use google+. seemed easier then denying it and fighting the pop up boxes forcing you to join that im now hearing about.

I also have my channel with g+ since the beginning but what gets people pissed is that the comments are broken and everyone is being nagged to join g+ or better stop commenting.
Threaded comments are broken and you cannot "jump to time" in the video when someone comments something like "Boobs at 04:31".

lol awwww i loved the "boobs at x:x" comments. but like every one else said when people are finally either forced to join or just give in everything will work better. also google wont let that big of a system be broken for long. they loose insane amounts of money when its broken or the general public isnt pleased something will be worked out im sure of it.

I have had a G+ account for aaages cos I thought I had to for youtube some time ago and it is linked. Comments are still fked up for me and Im getting sick of it.
