Police harassment!!!!

I was riding a few weeks back and was pulled over by the police!
He was just doing a routine stop (the police get very board where i live lol)
anyway he asked me to produce my licence, he check it all was fine.
He then proceeded to look around my bike trying to find faults.
he pointed out my rear tyre tread he said it was below 1mm.
My tyre was replaced 2 months ago! it has about 4mm on the thing
I went on to tell him theres no way thats illegal. he then questioned my
knowledge on vehicles, to his knowledge i am just an average joe!!
i then tell him my job and he soon shuts up and tells me how lucky i am! joke right!
I am a Mot tester/Mechanic so i know whats legal and whats not!

I wonder if he would of wrote me a ticket if i did not tell him my job!!]

Has anyone else experienced police harassment?

Thats just a cop who doesnt like bikes. either way. if he gave u a fine, i would instantly take a photo of the rear tyre with teh fine, and then take that into the courts office and show them this fine is not valid and a complaint needs to be made against that cop.

It is my beleif that if you get pulled over nowadays, you have to PAY for the privellage!!

In this country, when your a rider, your automatically in a 'Hoon' category. So try n fight that in court!!
NOT KOOL!!

Well... here, in case of vehicular fines, we are guilty until proven otherwise.
So a cop can come to you, coming out of the parking lot, and say "you were doing 987kph in a 30kmh zone), and all you can do is pay the fine, and THEN complain about it.
And in a couple year's time, when it expires, get your money back.

It's ridiculous! They assume all bikers are breaking the law. Like you said all you can do is pay the fine and hope you can claim it back! No good
I bet really every bike has been stopped unfairly!
