hey there boss man Dan,

with this new forum software .... when we need to post a pic.... from a random source....

like as in the "can we count to 100,000" thread .... is there a way to force the image to a certain nominated size? ... if its too big...

on a older SMF forum i use you click on the img button... paste in your link ... then if its a huge pic you add in a width 'control' ..

looks kinda like this (with the add in bit bold)

[img width=640]image link info blah blah [/img]

the 640 can be any number... 480 .. 800 .. etc .. just so the pic fits easier onto the screen ...

i really like the pop up and paste img thing here.... but how to force the image size?? ...

is there info on the forum somewhere that explains if its a possible thing?

They do resize don't they?
but they all seem to resize to different dimensions? Probably works on a percentage basis..

The forum automatically resizes the picture to the navigator boundaries up to a max of 730 pixels in width, I don't know about the height limit.

BTW, Imageshack, the service I've been using for years, went paid. Fuck them.

I'm only asking as I'm uber concerned that Jaxie is about to post his latest profile shot and if the image is any larger than a boiled lolly, the results could be DISASTEROUS!!!
