Partnership

How do you go about getting partnership? And is it actually worth it?

I go to youtube.com/partners and click "get started" and it just goes to my account monetisation screen and reads "To become a YouTube Partner and access promotional and skill-building opportunities, you must have at least one video approved for monetisation." Which I do. Then there is nowhere left to go, nothing to click other than the three irrelevant options it lays out "Review Guidelines - Review or change AdSense association - Review Terms of Service"

What sort of things does having partnership open up to you? I've heard a few motovloggers say that you get more stats and options on their channel.

Having a few extra pennies from it would be nice too, anything I do get from it is going in to my DRZ fund... so look forward to my DRZ videos in December 2024.

I've just had a look on the YouTube partner website home page and it's changed a bit from when I applied, it used to have a big yellow button that said 'Apply Now'. After you clicked that button you filled out a form and sent it off. I have no idea how it works nowadays.

After I sent off the form I had to wait 7 months before I got a reply, but apparently some people had to wait a year to get a response!

If you have some popular videos, they should just offer it to you... and yes it's worth it, the money is enough for gas.

Thanks Neil. That was the form I filled in ages ago, but I cancelled my application after about 6 months, and then I could never find it again. Filled it in again.

I was telling a guy I know about adsense the other day, and after listening to my spill about it.. I was flat out called a liar. LMFAO
He told me that he's been on the web since 14k modems where high speed and that if people like me could make money from youtube videos he would have known about it for a while. He told me(basically) "It's just a scam that google/youtube is pulling on it's users so they can place ads on private videos without worrying about being sued."
Since he seemed pretty convinced by his claims; I thanked him for setting me strait,,, but couldn't help checking my adsense account on my cell phone real quick to see how much scam money I'd made for the day. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I've had the same experience. Apparently they have me so brainwashed they've even implanted memories of me depositing the checks. :lol:
