Overtaking On A Double Could Cost You Your Life...

Can’t read the Facebook page but...... I see this as the same as shooting some on in the leg for jaywalking.

Yes they are doing something wrong yes they have upset you. Does that really mean run them off the road?

The lass on the back had no control of the situation is it really fair to put here in danger or pain? Next time I see some on their phone while driving I’m going to pull out a gun and shoot out there tyres so they drive off the road? next time someone speeds I’m going to lift spikes out the road flipping the car?????

I think it should be attempted double murder he planned to hit and take out 2 people on a bike know it could well kill them both........ for what!

About the biker why over take on double whites even without people trying to kill you they are there to keep you from flying head 1st into unknown danger and killing others.

Wear gear!!!! Its never to warm to wear mess armour

The biker is responsible for the lady’s safety as well as his own

Regardless of the riders legality in the over taking I don't think its reasonable for the driver to take such action.

Why there are time we all feel like releasing our frustrations most of us don't.

The only other thing is what was going on prior to this as it does seem he decided to make that move from a fair way back meaning he was watching the mirror closely.

HOOD COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM ) – William Crum, 68, was arrested late Monday afternoon and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a crash on Tin Top Highway, according to District Attorney Rob Christian.

The crash happened Saturday on the two-lane road about 5 miles north of Granbury. It involved Crum’s car that swerved across the center line and struck a motorcycle, injuring the driver and passenger as they fell to the pavement. Christian said that each charge against Crum, if convicted, carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

Eric Sanders, the driver of the motorcycle, contends that Crum swerved intentionally. Sanders suffered abrasions, and his girlfriend, Debra Simpson, was taken to Harris Methodist Hospital with a broken wrist and deep arm lacerations. She was moved from ICU today to a regular room and is listed in stable condition.

Christian said Crum would remain in custody pending a bond hearing Tuesday. He didn’t know whether Crum has an attorney who could comment on his behalf.

This scum has done it before, according to a juror on the previous case who commented on the facebook page. Apparently he purposely drove at 2 kids on a ATV, knocked them off and then tried to finish them with a shotgun. This was in 2009.
How he was not still in jail is beyond belief.

Looks like he believes he has the right to kill or maim people who do things he doesn't like, give him to a bikie gang and look the other way would be my recommendation.

He's claiming he was bitten by a spider and lost control of the car now. Suuure. Still, when asked by a reporter whether he needed to apologize to the bikers, he said he only owed the girl an apology, but not the guy driving the bike because he was breaking the law. Hopefully he will keep running his mouth and convict himself. I'm thinking it will end up with him pleading to 2 counts of "Deadly Conduct", because it means an instant win for the DA and 2 Class A misdemeanors on his record instead of 2 Second Degree Felonies. Though if Captain Cranky's above statement is correct and he already has a record the DA may just throw the book at him, which I think would be the best outcome.

started with a wasp, now its a spider. jeepers whats this guys car look like?

Probably changed bugs when he realized the cops could still see evidence of a wasp sting after 2 days, whereas a spider bite might fade. Thing is, in Texas we have a lot of spiders. Problem is the only ones that would cause that much pain from a bite would send you to the hospital. Talking Brown Recluse (sometimes people don't even feel those. Problem comes later when your skin starts rottin goff) Black Widow (will fuck you up and make you physically ill), Tarantula (so fucking big the mere sight of one would send you off the road and pretty easy to find after the fact. Also has 1/4" long fangs, making a bite pretty obvious) and Jumping Spiders (Bites to humans are extremely rare, but if you get one, the swelling will last for about 3 days. The venom is otherwise harmless).

Sure looks like attempted first degree murder to me....

I agree and I'm sure the prosecutor wouldn't disagree, but it's hard to prove intent to kill in a traffic incident. With the aggravated assault charge they could still put him in prison until he's 90 years old and all they have to prove is that he "willfully OR recklessly" did something that could cause death or permanent injury. Still not a slam dunk but now he's shooting from the free throw line instead of from halfway across the court (sticking with the basketball references).

In which case, he may well be dribbling when he's 90...

Can they revoke your licence for any offences in the US? DUI in England is a sure fire way to loose your licence for a year.

Absolutely and going by the previous info I'm not sure why he's still on the road. People loose their license and even get jail time for excessive speeding in the US

Just because hes on the road doesn't mean he has a licence.

People like this tend to run outside the law for multiple things.

he has had traffic issues before. which helps a little

As for the attempted murder, They will try to charge him with that, Lay as many charges as possible, even going down to something stupid like parking in an unsafe place (after the crash)

The more that sticks, the longer the jail time

(LOL'd at the "dribbling") commentYep. As Arctic mentioned, excessive speeding can lose you your license. Too many moving violations of any kind can, DUI/DWI for sure. 1st Offense, your license can be suspended for 2 years. You can also get 6 months in Jail. For a 3rd DWI you can get 2-10 Years in state prison. I know a guy personally that did 1 year in jail for his 3rd DWI. No "good behavior" time, no nothing. One year flat. He lost his job, , his vehicle, his house, everything.

Going triple digits as in 100mph or over isn't mandatory jail, by state law, but a lot of counties have the policy that if you get caught doing over 100 you go right to jail for reckless driving. It deters most people, but obviously won't deter everyone.

Plus the wasps and spiders might sue him for defamation and slander!

He intentionally and maliciously caused bodily harm, hopefully now that he is arrested he gets time behind bars so someone can cause bodily harm to his anus.

Its clearly a premeditated attempt to swerve at the rider. I'm sure part of his defense will center around either a SMIDSY or that he didn't mean to make contact.
