Over trousers/Jeans

Hi everyone,
Now don't laugh at me...Got to start some where! I've got all the gear and waiting till 1st Sept for my new learner bike.
Do you wear the motorcycle over trousers inside or outside your motorcycle boots?

I have textile over trousers that I use for work, and for bad weather. I have those outside my boots, as it helps keep everything waterproof. My kevlar jeans I have on the inside of my boots.

On a slightly related note, I had someone on twitter critisize myself and Friz for doing this. Maybe they don't like it!

'Textile' trousers generally go on the outside.
Leathers on the inside.
Kevlar jeans either/or. I wear mine on the outside but always worry they'll get caught in the chain as they're a bit loose!

This exactly. Although some leathers are designed to go on the outside of the boot - just google some moto gp pictures and there is a good mix.

Always outside for me. Gravity tends to pull rain downwards, and I don't want boots full of water

This is true for gloves as well, except when I am wearing my leather jacket I have the gloves on the outside. It does suck when it rains and you just feel the gloves filling up.
