Off road gps

I live near a huge forest. There aretrals in every direction. It is flat and basically all pine trees. Looking to get educated on off road gps. Can I upload way points, will satellite actually find these trails? If you have done a video on this please let me know. I need to start looking at tutorials. This forest is famous for helping people get lost.

I guess it depends on what GPS you have. I have a Garmin Montana (iirc) & apparently you can set waypoints on that but not worked out how yet.

Try looking for a "off road gps". They usually have common trails pre-programmed and allowing you to create new paths.
