I'd smash my monthly mobile data in an hour of streaming. =(

yeah, I guess you're right! When I was in the UK I had a great deal that was ACTUALLY unlimited. Not just 'unlimited' I used over 20GB of data one month!! And only £25 a month. Those days are gone though. German phones tariffs are pricey! Maybe the gopro is a good deal after all. ......

We have those in Australia but they boot you from the network at the end of your prepaid month for using more than 400MB a day =(

No postpaid plans in AU offer unlimited data.

I use my UK Three completely unlimited contract here in Switzerland. It's awesome.

I see the excitement but I can't feel it. To make it more interesting would require hangout capabilities. This setup would have no intro, no outro, and no editing. We'd really see the vlogging potential of some and I think the enjoyment would wear thin after about, oh, 20 minutes?

You don't have to pay $7k anymore it seems. Meerkat + GoPRO is here. Not sure how well this would stand up with spotting cell coverage, which I seem to hit more often than not when biking.

If it worked, it could be interesting if the motovlogging topics / content was engaging, not sure what that content would be right now tho :/

I can see the attraction with a live feed from a race track, but vlogging???

GoPro has been working on this for a while, they had been beta testing it during the US AMA motocross/supercross series along with some Xgames events. Its definitely intended for broadcast sports but also will be great for directors to view live footage while making films. I'm sure some of the TOP vloggers (think outside moto) will have some use for this

Hell yeah, im even new to this.

But this is AWESOME. I am going to try and get my hands on one hella quick!
