How do I make my channel private for a few days. A fail completion channel used one of my videos, without my permission. So I filed a copyright claim, due to the fact they make money from these. Now my name appears as the reason the video is blocked. Spam all ready heading my way. Hopefully trying to avoid a shit storm.

That button is no longer available, just turned all my videos to private for a while, and turned off channel comments

Were people giving you a hard time because you reported the guy for stealing your video? I wouldn't make your stuff private. You may be missing out on a lot of legitimate views. I have one video that got posted on a bunch of sites and I get a ton of hatemail over it but I also get a lot of subs and people that aren't just trolls. Just ignore the trolls.

By the way, I make quite a bit of money from that video, more than all the other videos on my channel combined.

I'd spoke to this guy already and got him to credit you in the description for the video. I sent you a message about it, but you didn't reply.

The amount of hassle this is going to create really won't be worth it. Your clip was one of the shortest on there, and the whole thing about making money off your video is a little silly.

But whatever. You've done it now. Hope it works out for you mate.

They've re-uploaded, without my clip in this time. I know it could have brought me more views for that video. But I uploaded that for my friends, and those how are subscribers. Should have realised this isn't possible with a crash video.

I dont montize my videos, friz helped me set it up. But I decided I really wasn't that bothered.
