Before anyone starts off on one, I've already spoken to Motovlog site admin/owner about this and he has no problem with me posting this or advertising my idea. What he did say tho was that this has been tried a few time before and whilst it wasn't always met positively, I don't see any harm in putting it to a vote. Some of you will have personal opinions about this but hey - opinions are like arseholes... we all have em. If you don't wanna join, don't join, Simple as. I'm just offering those who do an opportunity to join a bike forum. Some of you will form your own little pockets of friends, some will fall out. That's the beauty of bike forums.

I did set this site up last year but due to differences of opinion with the web guy at the time, it fell to bits, so I'm trying again.

Who would be interested? vote at the top please.

If I get enough interest and people are willing to pedal their mates in as well, I can't see how it can't not work. As with all forums, it needs you guys to post and without that, there is no forum.

Views? Opinions? Suggestions?

Have you been on forums before and found something missing? Things you didn't like?

Tell me?

The idea of this forum is that YOU input. Not just the threads, replies, pictures and video but anything. If you want a certain section adding, let us know and it's done. Not happy with something on the site? Tell us and it's gone.

Like it says - By bikers FOR bikers.

So what is it?

I'm gonna be looking for dedicated people to act as moderators or anyone basically who wants to help spread the word. We'll need a FaceBook site setting up (if anyone knows how to do that - I'm not on FB so can't get involved in that side). Generally anything and anyone who can help promote the site.

It will become as successful as the members on it make it so it's down to us to make that happen.

No one is making money from it and as we speak, there's a guy working behind the scenes setting up a forum as we speak. All will be revealed as soon as it is ready.

If you disagree, please feel free to say why. Feedback is always useful.

I spend enough of my time on forums as it is, so if you were to make it i'd join but probably not be that active :) So i voted yes :)

I think a lot of people will be like this. That is why I am not normally on this forum, I am signed up to so many biking ones, but once the word has spread I think it should pick up. It will take a while but I think it would get there, and I would love to be a mod, and get stuck in with listening to what people want and making it so! I can set up a Facebook page for you if you want, and put you down as a moderator on the FB site (if I can have your fb name?) :)

Great idea, IMO (yes my opinion) a region section would be good. From my personal experience there never seems to be a bit in meet up subsections that shows people who are close to you. might be a bit much but it would be great considering that im from the south and im not sure why but a lot of guys that ride bikes tend to be upnorth. Just a thought :)

Nice one fella - I've no problem with you getting involved. I'm not on FuckBook as i causes too many probs but soon as it's up and running can sort you out as a mod with pleasure.

Other members in the country can be, say, organisers of the South/North etc,

I'll let you know as soon as the site is up and running then you can get stuck in pedaling it on FB. Don't do anything as yet though cuz there's nothing there. Ppl will get bored of returning to nothing. Best wait till its full operational then do it.

Nice one though guys - this is what it needs.

I'll keep you posted.

8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

I'd Use it, on the understanding that Drift HD problem topics are all directed to the drift website .. i cant stand them

I think to be gair to this site, I'd direct ALL Vlog topics back here. Wouldn't be fair to drawn them into Bikething, plus there's too many topics/questions/answers already covered in here already.

I'd sign up if it goes live. Still don't have a bike yet but general chit chat and stuff would be great. Plus if there was maybe a wee tech section giving tips and stuff.

Uhh, this is a bike forum...

No, this is a forum for MotorVloggers, it just has a large culmination of bikers on it. Hey! I'm not suggesting this is in any way lacking, I'm just offering people another source to while away the hours that's all.

That's like saying "there's a load of us off out for a ride this weekend, are you coming" and the reply being "I'm already going out with a different group this weekend, why should I come with you?"

It's just variety that's all.

It is still being worked on, just making sure the basics are there first before anything gets pushed out.

I voted no but I wouldn't want to put anyone off from trying something different.

I'm only on here and sv650.org and I struggle to keep up with these ones as it is. I often browse VisorDown and MCN but that's about it. I can't bring myself to join londonbikers.com as the above sites are enough.
I guess it all depends on what your site will offer to make it attractive to people. You seemed to have jumped the gun a bit and designed tshirts to flog before it's even up and running which makes me a tad skeptical but hey ho.

Good luck with it anyway.

Why am I giggling like a schoolgirl at that comment?

Sometime before the end of this week I'm hoping to have it live
