Not really, it's a regular sized 125cc commuter, main competitor to this would be the Honda CBF125, both the leading commuter 125 geared bikes, well here UK anyway. Bit dearer than some others (although no more expensive than the Grom), but they're the branded reliable ones.

Yeah they are regular sized but the seats are quite thin so if you've got a voluptuous ass like myself they can get a bit achy after a couple hours. Can't knock it for reliability although I've only had it almost 2 weeks so you never know hehe.

I was seriously considering the YBR125 when I upgraded from a 50cc. In Japan 125 cc aren't allowed on the highways, so I got a VTR250. What are the highway regulations over there? Nice bike BTW.
