Clue is in the title, I have a blocked nose so I sound even more stupid but damn my voice is annoying!

There's a chance you've got the Project Video Properties set incorrectly for your video type. IE: You filmed in 720 but are trying to render in 1080.

When you're in Sony Vegas hold down Alt and hit Enter. This will bring up the settings. Under template, select different video settings until your video will play back normally in the preview. Once that's done and you're ready to render, hit file, render as, and then make sure the "Match project settings" box is ticked. I've found YouTube likes .wmv alright. ymmv.

You'll get used to your voice. Everyone hated their own voice the first time they heard it on a cassette tape. (aging myself)

You might have muted the video channel. It is something that does happen in Vegas from time to time if I don't pay attention. In other news I absolutely disliked my own voice when I first heard it. I was missing the base I thought I had. But, in the end it's my voice and one can't do much about that one. And, it does grow on you. I mean, come-on... it's your own voice! :mrgreen:

And I have a permanent blocked nose myself. Damn allergies. Still, doesn't sound to "nasal" to me.

Thanks for the help guys, Miggs I'm trying that now to see if that works The Match project settings wasn't ticked so might have just been that Thank you! Will give you a shout when its done with the new link if it will work and upload and yeah I'm sure I just need to get used to hearing my voice this way rather than how I hear it normally.
