Are you using an iPhone to record your videos? If you are you can hold the phone horizontally and the iPhone will automatically go to landscape mode, rather than portrait so you can use all the screen on YouTube instead of just a little slit in the middle.

Thanks for the heads up ScooterHoon, I was about to go check it out. Boycotted vertical vids a long ass time ago, sry(I thought only peoples moms were still shooting those kinds of vids. lol)
