So, I've asked a couple friends who have nothing at all to do with YouTube except for watching occasional random videos, and I've gotten some feedback. I wanted to ask some folks here your opinion.
I have 5 youtube channels. FIVE. 3 of them I update regularly, 1 seldom, and 1 hasn't seen an upload in years. For all intents and purposes, I really have 4. Fishing, Gaming, Accoustic Music (mosstly covers on various instruments I play poorly), and now motovlogging. It's a hassle thinking of keeping them separate. Would you recommend having a SINGLE channel and instead of focusing on a genre, just have a hodgepodge of "things" that I do?
I have seen this work on some channels. I see BakerXDerek uploading guitar videos, I see DIWD doing gaming on occasion. Give me some advice here.
I'm leaning toward a single channel, but I don't wan to alienate any viewers who aren't interested in whatever video it is I'm uploading that day.
