Motovlogging Is Harder Than I Thought

I have heard some motovloggers say that you should ride your bike a while before attempting to make a vlog on it. That makes sense so I put about 3000 miles on my honda cbr and about 500 on my scooter before making a vlog. I still had trouble concentrating on the road and talking at the same time. It's harder than I thought it would be lol

You said it mate, definitely something you have to get used to, just keep going with it and soon enough it will just be natural thing

Try not vlogging, just talking as if you were in a cage with a friend. Also try talking your ride to yourself, e.g., car at side turn, will he go? Pedestrian near crossing, will the lights change, keep that up out loud and you'll get used to chatting.

I say if you're a new rider it can be difficult. You really shouldn't vlog if you feel you are having to concentrate too much on what to do with the bike. For example if every sharp turn you come to you are having to think about how to slow down and clutch, etc. Dont vlog.

Wait until the riding part becomes second nature then you should be able to talk and watch your surroundings just fine.

Yesterday I recorded my first video in the last two months and it was rather difficult. In the middle of my sentences I forgot what I was talking about or I used a wrong word. I guess it will be lots of work editing the video ;) But I'm happy to report that by the end of last year it had become way easier for me which gives me hope for getting better at it again :D

Yea we have all been there, the way I do talkies is I chat like I'm on the phone I do not concentrate on the vlog as such its more of a chat. I rarely do topics and its just some crap that happened that day or something I saw. Seems to come across much better than thinking... I know I will do this topic today!

Safety is paramount though, use that edit button!

#1 Safety first! Remember you can edit out all the empty space so take your time. As you work it, in time it will get easier to do. A lot of people suggest practicing with no camera. Just ranting to yourself, thinking out loud type of thing.

I was an air traffic controller for some time ago and that job required you to do many things such a listen to pilots while relaying information to another controller. Mumultitasking is the key to success in air traffic. The thing is not everybody can do it. The one who couldn't got fired. In that career field people can die if you freeze and dont react in a timely manner. I believe motovlogging is the same. If it too much work for you, its not worth it. Keep practicing but remember safty is more important than YouTube.

Loosing your train of thought is a definite norm, specially when you are accelerating haha even the best stop talking while accelerating

Man that sounds like a stressful job. I definitely couldn't do it.
