Motovloggers of the world united (ra ra ra yadda yadd yadda)

Now I know someone on here has a motovlogers of the world google map, I also know someone set up a website for selected motovlogers that they cherry pick.

Now while Im off the bike again (sigh) I can work on more graphics or after effects and also put together a pet project.

Motovlogers of the world website (someone come up with a good name).
Now how it would work, you simple add your youtube nickname to the list, once its verified as being a real motovloger channel every video you post will be added to its own page in its own section for the respective channel with the front page of the site showing the day(s) latest videos.

It will be 100% automatic, IE as soon as you post a new video it will automatically appear on the website (give it a few hours as I can't set the scripts to poll too often).

I know I can do this as already do this for my own videos so expanding it to include everyone should be a right bit of erm fun lol.

Whats in it for you lot?

Well hopefully more viewers and more income if you monetise.
A massive live database of bikes etc all in one place, you may find some great new chans you didn't know about!
Whats in it for me, well ofcourse I would put an adsence on the top/side of page.

Downside would be the descriptions would not update if you updated them on youtube (sorry bandwidth hit would be huge checking the entire database against youtubes) but this could be fixed by automatically creating an account for each new vloger so they could edit (not post new) their own automatically created posts.

I really want to do this but don't want people to think I'm stealing their thunder...?

Go for it. Can't say how popular it'll be but you never can till you've tried it.

motovlogs.com isn't about anymore but I don't think they updated it past the first day.

I think its a good idea. I think the idea of searching for specific bikes is a great idea.

That sounds like an awesome idea to me. I would love to see some sort of reference site like that where you could easily check out all of your local Vloggers, plus all the others around the globe .

you should create a section for the bikeless amongst us as i am going to start webcam vlogging and know some people who wouldn't mind doing that also.

I've picked this project up again recently and have been playing with it today, using wordpress as the content manager with a few plugins etc. I'm surprised how easy it was to set this up.

So it may see the light of day soon.

Also got a cheap hosting deal as youtube will be managing most of the bandwidth

All I need to do now is design a nice wordpress skin/theme... never made my own one so this is gonna slow me down.

I wouldn't mind helping out on verifying real motovloggers, but I'm guessing you'd probably need people more...trusted/known ahah
Also, I'd sugguest having like the home page just saying welcome and stuff or whatever, and then have a section for 'MotoVlogs' having the site focused around that, as well as 'Motorbike Trips' and a 'Non-MotoVlogger' or something Idk if that's possible or whatever, but your idea as a whole seems pretty cool.
