So I got rather angry yesterday (Rather unlike me i must say) and had to ride home. after a few kilometres of stupid riding and alot of cursing etc, i found that riding calmed me down. Does anyone else go for a ride to calm down, or am I just strange person?

I tend to calm down then ride, emotions can make you do some very sillly sometimes dangerous things on bikes.

I do agree though they are a great distraction!

I've only been riding a short while but I've already learnt that riding whilst upset is a bad idea. You get very very tense, your reaction time becomes slower and you end up ignoring important information.

I'm the same.
If I'm pissed (off) then I'll jump in the car or on the bike and go for a spin. It's like meditation.

So what happens when someone pisses you off when your driving/riding? :P

Nothing - It lasts about 5 seconds.
I have enough to be getting on with wthout worrying about every fuc%wit I encounter on the road :)
